Description: Medium for the cultivation and identification of fungi. 

Composition: (typical formula g/L) 
Dextrose
Agar
Pancreatic Digest of Casein
Peptic Digest of Animal Tissue 
Potassium Phosphate, monobasic 
Final pH 5.6 ± 0.2 at 25°C Adjust pH as required to meet performance criteria

Preparation of Medium: 
Suspend 65 g of the powder in 1.0 L of purified water. 
Mix thoroughly. 
Heat with repeated stirring. 
Boil 1 minute to dissolve completely
Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes
